The Promise Embroidery

"The Promise" is an embroidery apart of the collection "The Tale of The Two Violets" which debuted at Melt Fest at "Sexy Gay Art" in 2025. This was ColourPuff Girls first wall art show and the collection of embroideries told the story of finding her first queer relationship. This collection celebrates sapphic love and heartbreak. It's colourful, sparkly and hand embroidered with so much love. 

When I broke up with Violet I promised us that we would heal through this together. We made the kind of promises all lovers make when they hope the next time they will get it right. Violet hangs over my shoulder as I hug her tightly. This moment was equally beautiful and a nightmare. Love is a tricky and painful business. This moment will remind me to always try and heal through pain not run away from it.
