"The Tale of the Two Violets' zine is a collage of the embroidery collection made for "Sexy Gay Art" which was ColourPuff Girls debut in the queer art scene. This scene is made from the crochet alphabet that ColourPuff Girl spent months making at the beginning of 2025. Digitally using them in a collage pushed ColurPuff Girls concept of where crochet will venture in the future. Digital collages with crochet can extend the life of crochet and translate the softness to a new medium. This zine is beautiful and tragic and filled with art that has changed ColourPuff Girl for ever and if you are a lover girl, gay , guy or alien these pages will be familiar to you too.
